    Regarding hair replacement

i was thinking how many clinics would go out of business if a product could regenerate new hair all over the scalp and also save many people who could not in there wildest dreams ever afford a hair transplant.
Also if many of us in uk could get a hair transplant on the nhs it would help many people who are suffering depression and maybe cheaper or bring costs down of the private clinics.

Hard to say.... If a total "silver bullet" were discovered I suppose HT's would become obsolete. However, I think it's much more likely that these new treatments coming online in a few years would be complimentary treatments to a HT for those with advanced loss.

For those with slight or moderate loss, hopefully it will save us from needing a HT.

What does annoy me and this is not just the uk if you lose lots of weight and you need cosmetic surgery for loss skin around the tummy area you can get this on the nhs for free and unless you take your cloths off its not seen but with hairloss it can be just as distressing and life changing and you get no help.

Good point. I do not think here in the US that Obama will ever be convinced to have the government pay for any cosmetic procedures including hair transplants.
