I'm just curious, how many people here are actually on fin, and how long have you been on it?

about the sides: my sexdrive gradually went down the random thoughts and random boners are gone but when I'm with a girl or watching porn my dick works just fine, if not better than before because it's numb and I use to come fast. Not anymore.

No gyno at all and my sperm is as thick as it used to be no doubt. But the sex drive definitly went down.

And my dick hasn't shrunk and my muscle mass is the same, both of those side effects seem like utter bullshit to me.

Of course I miss being really exited about seing a girl. I miss being horny at the sight of a nice cleavage. But I still have a sexlife. I just don't really look forward to sex but when it's there I enjoy it and I still have fun.

And staring at the mirror reminds me why I will not drop fin, I know whatever's left at the front would be gone without fin, and I cant picture myself as a bald man this is something I will not be able to cope with, if I drop fin it would be in favor of a wig.

Every third day since Jun '12, Every other day in Aug-Sep, Every day September to present, and I continue to take it daily.

Results - my hair has literally stopped falling out but I haven't noticed a lot of regrowth- just yet. I am hopeful.

Sides experienced with previous attempts to use fin (in 2008, 09, and '10 all around a month or two), which were very severe and I lost my sex drive completely. I tried it again out of a real concern to keep my hair. I listened to Spencer's show and heard about an option to take fin every few days and slowly increase dosage. I thought it made sense and I tried it with great success and no initial side effects.

Since taking fin daily, my side effects are almost the exact same as Assemblage23 - except a nice pair of tits doesn't do much for me any way you look at it. But that's not something I can blame on fin - instead that's how God made me. As a gay dude -I no longer find myself getting turned on like I used to but when sex is on the menu with my man - we have it, it's still hot, and I'm into it. It's not a big enough deal to make me stop taking fin although I do miss being horny...

Have watery semen after one month. I think this clears up for most people, and if this is the only side, I can live with this in order to maintain my hair. Erections and semen volume don't seem to be affected.

Not yet. But thanks to this forum I've become infinitely more educated on the drug, with respect to all facets. Best believe I'll be hopping on it in the next 1-2 months if my hair doesn't head in the right direction with a healthy diet and exercise (I'm not holding my breath).

6 weeks... Decreased ejaculate volume, but no change in libido or ED (touch wood)

.25mg per day for the first 4 weeks, currently .50mg per day (where I will remain)

1-mg daily six months now, hair loss basically stopped, looks like crown is beginning to fill in....no sides.

About 3 weeks with 0.5mg everyday.

I experienced lower libido the first few days but it may have just been in my head... Either way I was back to normal within a few days of starting. No side effects to report. If anything this drug seems to be slowly clearing up my face of any minor acne I had.

I try not to read the horror stories that are posted all over the web.. I read doctors reports and scientific data on the drug instead. I would have started finasteride earlier in 2012 but a couple members and their fear mongering got the better of me. I've gained so much knowledge in the past few months from the great info that can be found by searching the forums. This is what led me to consider starting finasteride.

Hey Chrisis how are your sides doing these days if you don't min me asking? I've been off propecia for 3 weeks now, most days seem fine and I get morning erections a lot but every once in a while I get this mild discomfort below my abdominals and above my junk. Makes me really nervous, I'm waiting till the end of January before I actually give myself a test to make sure everything is working down there if you get my meaning. I'm too nervous to try now, i'd just psyche myself out. Just wanted to hear if you're slowly getting better or anything.
