I'm glad this thread is helpful. That is my only real goal with it. I plan on taking an updated picture after three months on fin. I've linked two of my threads with my background and treatments. I'd say I'm a NW 2.5 but with diffuse thinning. I have been on Rogaine for eight months and fin for almost two months.

Hello, I'm turning 28 this summer and as you can see from my pictures I'm visibly balding. The first picture is my wet hair right out of the shower and the last picture is from last summer. When I was 16 my dermatologist put me on accutane for moderate acne. At the time I didn't have to do any blood work (big problem imo

I buzzed my hair this morning so I could have an easier time applying Rogaine and to see how my hair was doing under the longer hairs. Fyi...I've been on Rogaine for almost two months and have been on biotin and saw palmetto for almost 4 months. You can see my future horseshoe from the top down look. :( The last pic is

        Good stuff. Thanks.

I agree that you have a good head shape for super short hair, so, worst comes to worst, you'll be rockin' a skin head.

No, of course the mind isn't capable of inducing gyno.

If you had absolutely none before starting fin, you maintained the same weight while on fin and then developed it, it's probably fair to say its the propecia.

Aches, pains, libido and depression come and go all the time for a myriad of reasons. If you are overly cognizant of them because of the anticipation of taking a drug, and you are going to over analyze every tiny little twitch you are probably going to perceive some of these sides.

I'm not saying no one ever experienced ED, or decreased libido or depression legitimately from fin - I'm just saying for some folks the power of suggestion is a powerful thing.

Testicle ache is gone, I think the pain is because I haven't had a nocturnal emission in awhile.

Only had the testicle ache that one day. I think it was because I have been spending time with a girl and had increased erections but no ejaculations so that was built up. Things are back to normal.

I took the first one tonight. I will continue to take the drug for at least year and will have to drop it once I get married as my derm said I probably should not be on fin if I'm going to have a child. Therefore, after marriage I will have to be off the drug.

I will post my results as time goes on.
Just to let you know, a very new study has shown long term finasteride use can make men infertile.
As far as I understand it can creep up on you without any other side effects.

Worth getting a sperm count test at the very least.

Sorry, I'm not married and it's against my religious beliefs to intentionally ejaculate outside of marital relations. I'll risk the infertility as the tests I had done were normal before I started fin.

I respect every religion or belief, but a good ejaculation once on a while probably would relief that ball pain iirc.

Good cause I don't want to have more children.

                              Another update:
I've been on fin for almost four months now. I have no side effects as of now. I have noticed some growth in my hair line. It's not great but it is new hair. Once I finish this bottle for the 4th month I will post a picture. Sheds are a little less than before but I never really shed a ton in the first place except for initially with Rogaine. Honestly, if the existing hairs would thicken up I would be very happy. I'm not asking for new hair but it is a nice bonus to see it growing.

This is all I want, man. Keep the hair I have. I have enough to frame my face and it's not see-through up top. Hell, I even like my receded hairline a bit.

Excited to see your 4-month pics.

                                Best.
