I have been reading up about this earlier, and was wondering if 1mg propecia can be taken eod (every other day) with the same results. Does it stay in the blood stream 48 hrs? What are your guys thoughts/opinions on this.
I generally recommend .5mg daily versus 1 mg EOD. Propecia (Finasteride) does have a very short half life. In order to establish steady levels of the medication you would need daily dosing.

Kinda off topic but since I saw that Dr. Charles posted I was wondering if you could shed some info on this for me. I'm slowly tapper off Propecia and I've got myself taking like 0.15 of a mg every 3rd day now. I just wondered if how this affects DHT since I hear different things. I hear people say that after a day off it your DHT starts to rise then I hear other people say it takes about 2 weeks for your levels to rise. I get that every day is probably a good idea for consistency when trying to treat hairloss, I don't care about how effective it will be for my hair anymore more how every 3rd day would effect DHT levels, if at all.I'd like to quit smoothly so I'm curious if doing it every 3rd day is causing my levels to rise and fall in some kinda weird way.
My plan was continue doing 0.15mg every 3rd day for about 3 weeks then stop completely.

So should I be cutting my 5mg Fin pills in fourths and taking it every day?
