    thoughts and help?

obviously experiencing some damage to the temples, but what do you think about the crown? thinning or is that just the crown's natural look?

any advice on medicine would be lovely. it's so weird. my father, my mother's father, and just about every other man in my family has had good hair into their fifthies. so idk why i'm losing mine... but i want to make it stop, at least now, and deal with it as it is and not have it get any worse...

Def looks receded - classic MPB shape. Hard to say if your crown is diffusing.

do you workout, how long? are you in school.. maybe stress related? try and link something to what you think is causing it. whatever it is, maybe took couple years to kick in before shedding started.

I work out some, not enough. Maybe twice a week these days, 45 minute to 60 minute sessions.

I'm 22 years old as of last Monday. I don't recall any history in my family of hair loss. And I'm a stressed person, with some social anxiety and low confidence leading to constant worrying.

Also, I don't get enough fruits and veggies. Most of my life, most days would go by without any serving. The last few months, I've tried to add them into my life, despite having a hard time convincing my family to buy them. So I usually get one serving of each a day now.

Otherwise, I donno what else could be causing it. Mold? Animal allergies? Lot of animals here. I donno. But anymore advice, comments, etc would be great, especially advice on what kind of medicine to try.

Edit: No school, working part time. Planning on college next year.

I'd get on minoxidil, nizoral, and maybe topical spiro ASAP. Research and decide if you also want to add finasteride.

Where can I buy those cheap? And you mean I should start using all of them? At once?

              Minox from amazon.
              Nizoral and finasteride from inhousepharmacy.
              Topical spiro (s5) from ************.

And yes, all of them. The topical ones definitely. Research and decide if you want to take the risks with fin.

how old are you ? i think you have slight recession at the temples , i think the length of your hair makes it fall that particular way at the crown , i would try not to worry about it , and certainly wouldnt get into any surgical procedures , could try little minoxidil on temples dont think it would hurt , other than that hit the gym enjoy life , stop worrying about hair , when you get into your mid thirties , if it still bothers you can research options then

hope this helps , all the best

It looks like typical male patterned baldness to me.

If it bothers you, you need to consult with a dermatologist who specializes in treating hereditary hair loss. The first line medications for males are Finasteride (Propecia) and Minoxidil (Rogaine). Both do different things - and they do work well in concert with each other. You are catching this very early so you are in a very good position to arrest it and reverse some of it. It takes time though so you need to be very patient and consistent with the meds.

Some things you can do now while you are waiting to consult with the doctor about meds is to switch out your regular shampoo and conditioner for sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. It would also be a good idea to wash your hair with Nizoral A-D shampoo (Ketoconazole 1%) once or twice a week. Ketoconazole is not a "stand alone" treatment for male hereditary hair loss but it is a good adjunct to stand alone treatments. Another adjunct treatment option is Low Level Laser therapy. However at this time I am reasonably convinced that LLLT probably works better for females than it does for males.
