    John terry

Why is this man not bald:

    NOW:

Still has thick hair, no thinning at 31. It's clear he has receeded at the temples.

That is a really good question, he probably had worked done in the past or it's a "mature Hairline"?

Mirko Cro Cop(age 38) seems to have the same receded hairline when was a young boy.

He probably was born with that hairline.

        So, doesn't count.

If had a HT, would have found out.

Footballers dont get huge recovery time, and are always in the media spot light, PLUS why the hell would he get a HT done that conservatively.

I've never had a straight hairline. I posted a picture of me as a baby on here a few weeks back, I had a pretty strong NW2 until age 6 or so. After that, it straightened out, but definitely never a NW1. Now, it's working it's way back to NW2, with a bit of diffuse thinning. I quite literally looked at pictures of me over the years because of my recent hair loss.

I'm not saying it means anything and, as we are all aware, everyone's situation is so particular. I think most of us try to read into things too much regarding hair loss, a bit of "broscience", as some of you not-so-lovingly refer to it.

I do find it a bit interesting I was never anything less than a NW1.5 though.

I don't follow football but I've seen Terry in the papers. I assumed he was close to 40, not 31. Nothing wrong with his hair though. Not everyone with a naturally high hairline ends up bald.

YeahYeahYeah, you ask why John Terry isn't bald? erm, maybe because he hasn't lost his hair!

Non question, soz buddy, but really isn't worth debating, but hey, here i am debating it, haa.

I am not sure but I thought finasteride was banned by a lot of sports organizations since it masks the use of steroids, so I don't think footballers can receive treatments other than minox?

Finasteride was banned for all professional athletes world wide since it was thought to mask anabolic steroids in the system. There was a big controversy when New Zealand tennis player Mark Nielson was banned from the game for two years and basically lost his international ranking. The World Anti Doping Agency has since taken it off its list of banned drugs after discovering that it does not mask steroid use.
