    Itching

I have a question about itching. When does it go away, when left untreated?

It really depends on the individual and the cause. It can go away on its own and sometimes it may reqire treqtment. I recommend seing a hair restoratiopn physician.

You may have a condition call Seborrheic dermatitis. You can visit a dermatologist to confirm this and get treatment options.

I want to ask a question to everyone who is experiencing itching.
how do you describe this itching feeling?
for ex I am having two kinds of itches, one of them is steady, local (ie. in a single point, like a needle), when I feel that kind of itch I check my scalp and find a little spot there (kind of like an acne)
the other is more like a crawling itch, feels as if a small insect is traveling over my head, and it can get a slight burning feel as well.
I feel those itches everywhere, even my non mpb regions (back of my head, a little above side burns etc)
            what about you?

i also feel different kinds of itches, all over scalp; I have days when I barely feel any itch, then next day it itches all the time. I also sometimes have doubts if it is mpb, because it itches all over, it is I guess diffuse, not sure if my sides and back recede. My hairline is visibly receding and I think also vertex. Don't have single person in family with diffuse thinning at such young age, few people with receeded temples. Also people with mpb tend to grow facial hair, well I grow very little facial hair, almost none on my cheeks.

I had real bad itching for about 2 weeks straight and I noticed my hair loss accelerated in the area where it was happening, so I started using Nizoral. This was about 3 weeks ago when I started and the first 2 or 3 times I used it it only helped slightly, but now I'm on my 4th or 5th time it's completely stopped the itching for me.

I used nizoral before but it made my hair bad, like wooly and hard. then I found out that I had been using it too much, I did not know it was to be used 2-3 times a week, I used it daily. now I will give it another shot, this time using only 2 times a week.

Yea nizoral helped with my itching a bit.

I'm down to using it once a week though, twice was getting rough on my hair.
