so 5 days I had minimum shed, I could hardly see some hairs in the drain for once and then just this morning I had a super shed, now I don't see what's going on, I am not doing anything different, why do I get sheds on some days and not the others? this time I really thought that the shedding had stopped, but apparently not

again days with little shed, especially today there were so little hair in my sink after shower even though I spent the last 24+ hours with extra-hard hold spray in my hair
however I cannot say anything at the moment since for the last weeks I have been shedding minimally for 5 days and heavily for 2. totally confused.

also another update on the sides, in the first one and a half month I thought my sex drive was decreasing, I was definitely thinking less about sex. now, for the last two weeks my libido is on the rise that I actually can't stop thinking about sex all day long, in fact I am seriously considering subscribing to paid porn sites

          Hi Konfusion,

Glad it seems to be working out for you. Thanks for the updates again, I'm sure there are others following this thread too.

well six months complete and shedding is here again! maybe stronger than ever. I have no idea what's going on. I don't know if shedding is a result of dutasteride anymore. maybe it's not even working. I got my t levels tested and they are not high enough for hyperandrogenecity, actually Free T is in the lower range. so what is this? I am also having less and watery ejaculations so I am to some point suffering from sides without benefits? why the hell! be fair dutas, if you are giving me some sides at least give me some more hair?

Stop taking either propecia or dutasteride. Both are poison to the body.

Yeah, listen to baldozer. He has an extensive medical and scientific research background. He definitely knows what he's talking about and isn't spreading unsubstantiated propaganda.

what do you suggest? do nothing about it? that doesn't sound like me.

I think I asked you before, forgive me, but where do you get your dut from? Is it Avodart from a licensed pharm?
Are you also taking fin with it, or just the dut?
Do you feel like any of the shedding areas have had any regrwoth since you started?

What are you talking about? It stops hair loss for something like 90% of people and gives regrowth for 30-40%.

I am not sure about the answer to the second question, for ex for a while I think I started to see some regrowth, especially in the right temple but I cannot be sure. there are shorter hairs there but I can't say if it is regrowth or hairs getting miniaturized. I can't remember if I had them before, but my right temple was looking worse than the left, now the left temple looks worse. there was a time around 4th-5th month when I thought things were getting better but now I feel like I took a big hit in just 2 weeks.
the thing is my derm said he spotted some miniaturized hairs on the top last year, when I was still on fin (for 5 years), so it is clear that fin was not much of a help, so I needed something stronger.

I understand. Good luck man....one possibility is always checking in with a doctor to make sure you do not have any other conditions affecting your hair like a thyroid problem or something

Did you switch from fin to Avodart all at one time? ie one day you were on fin and the next dropped it and started Avodart? Or did you take them at the same time at any point?
