has my hair got worse? opinions please

I posted an image on here i think it was a year ago this one



and took one today



to me personally i feel and see a big change in how much my hair has receded i just wanted peoples opinions im 30yrs old and i only use nizoral once a week no meds scared to try them to be honest but dont want to go bald cant win can you

hmm its strange i mean im not in denial i am defintely losing my hair/receding it just seems one min it looks awful and the next it looks just OK and stable

Your loss is not bad for 30. Still looks fairly thick apart from the temples.

Has it got worse? Difficult to tell- if there is a difference it's very minimal. Are you currently on any treatments?

Your hair line looks O.K. for a male. Maybe a little bit deeper temple recession than normal for a male but still O.K.. I can't really see enough in either photo to tell if it looks like it is getting worse or not. Hair line photos alone are not enough anyways. You need to privide photos of your mid-anterior and vertex as well as your hair line. Actually photos of the mid-anterior and vertex are more important than photos of the hair line when trying to determine how bad your hair loss is.

If you part your hair down the middle when you check and see the part getting wider over time, then yes your hair loss is getting worse.

thanks for the replys and no im not on any treatment as of yet so indecisive as what to do sides on propecia scare me like alot of ppl and the minox giving me chest pains would be a nightmare since i suffer anxiety i only use nizoral shampoo

cant say if its done much although i know it wont regrow my hair ect so wasnt expecting much

i havent noticed tracy anything like that but im sure if i shaved my head it would be worse than i imagined having so much thick wild hair hides the truth i think

Instead of only taking pictures of your hair pulled back in a hair band, take pictures of your hair parted down the middle as well. How wide your part is will be a much better indicator of how much hair you are losing.
