Hey guys, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread.

Where would one guy to buy proscar or finasteride if I decide to go that route someday? I ask because I don't have a doctor and I heard it's a prescription drug only.

Isn't it quite risky to purchase rx drugs from a website that doesn't require proof of prescription, or have any seal of approval from a government agency or industry watchdog?

Maybe I just don't know much about this, but it strikes me as a gamble

I thought I'd share a couple of pics of my hair.

took these the other day and I'm bang in the middle of a shed so my hair looks appalling!! I'm hoping that given more time fin can help with this.

sorry for the poor quality, I only have a phone to take pics with

been on my first 10 days of Finpecia, god the time goes quick, I've polished off 84 propecia already! No difference in changing from propecia to Finpecia.

If you actually take the time to look at other guys hair I think you will find that a high percent of guys 30+ are starting to show some recession or thinning. At my work there are about 15 out of 20 guys all under 40 who are showing signs if hair loss. even one guy who always takes the mick out of bald people has a slightly thinning crown and he's 28. I don't think he or anyone really notices it yet, but I've noticed it.

If the worst problem you will face in your life is baldness then you have a good life ahead of you!

oh and I've got a 6 month follow up with my derm in May so will see better photos there.

almost at 4months on 1mg fin and at the moment I'm feeling a little down. I thought my hair was improving but I'm still shedding, more than ever! I can't afford to lose much more hair and I'm considerably balder than I was pre meds.

I get depressed when I even try to imagine the turn around needed to get back to where I was when I started and just can't see my hair ever getting thicker! Gotta try and stay positive!!

still on fin and niz.... its true what they say. hair loss is a roller coaster!!

hey bro if you got no sides at all, just stick with it.

From my experience and research, the shedders are the best responders.

Give it a year, that is , if you have no serious side effects.

                          Good luck man.
