Propecia side effects linked to level of hairloss ??

Hey Guys, am still searching about propecia, Knowing that i finally get my prescription to use it from my dermatologist. After reading many articles and researches. I have a question and i hope you tell me what you think.

People with moderate to low hairloss levels , they don't have high percentage of DHT levels which explain the low level of hairloss. While people with severe hairloss levels, have a high perecentage of DHT.

So when propecia works it decreases these amounts of DHT.

People with low level of hairloss have low percentage of DHT so they will be affected more because of the significant decrease in DHT, while people with high hairloss levels wont be affected as much because DHT level will remain some what near to normal.

Is what am saying makes sense sorry if my opinion is B.S but am just wondering because am a guy who dont losses hair very much.
Sorry if what am saying doesnt make sense. Thanks

There is now a test available to see how an individual will respond to the medication (It's similar to the Hair Dx test - swab from inside the mouth). I understand your argument and perhaps there is some merit. However it is really about the specific person's genetic sensitivity to DHT. Two people could have similar dht levels but exhibit completely differant patterns and level of progression based on their unique genetic predisposition. You could tie yourself up in knots with this my friend as the variables are mind boggling. You need to decide if you are happy taking any medication first. After that, speak to a doctor. Aside from the test though, you won't know your specific reaction until you take it.

        Have a look at this

Granted it's not the best example but it will give you an idea. Check Dr Alan Bauman's website for more info. I'm sure lots of other doctors will offer this. Do a google search and maybe follow up with an IAHRS doctor in your area. However, please be advised that this test will only offer an indication.
