    Wash Out Toppik before Rogaine?

So a lot of times, this is my schedule when I go out at night. I shower, wait for my hair to dry, style it, and then put Toppik on.

I'll come home, and before I go to sleep, I'll apply rogaine, with the toppik still one. I've heard showering too much can weaken your hair, so this is why I don't wash out the toppik, i dont want to make my hair wet again, specially since I'll have to shampoo it again, to get the toppik completely out.

Can somebody advise me if I'm doing the right thing?

    1) Is it bad for my hair to sleep with Toppik on overnight?

    2) I'm assuming that putting rogaine with the toppik already on, will mean that the rogaine will not get to all the places on my head since the toppik is covering it?

    Thanks!

Good question. I do not think that sleeping with Toppik on occationally will hurt you. But does the Minoxidil penetrate as well with Toppik on the scalp might be a legitimate concern. The foam can be used once a day. Maybe you can put the foam under the Toppik and not have to worry about it. Just a thought.

I use pro thik spray, for me it it was much more convincing than topik
and leave it on all week
        wash hair once a week
it's the only way to look convincing, it builds up and looks full
I know it sounds crazy, but I still get complements on my hair at grocery stores etc...
and I can't put on rogaine to my hairline, (too messy) but I put it every where else,
the roaine is getting into my system but not on my hairline
        are there not systemic benefits?

RAVE: It depends how much toppik u put on. I put as minimum as possible, and nobody can tell. I even play basketball with it on, and theres never any sign, its amazing. Maybe you put way too much on.

MATT: What exactly is pro thik spray?? Never heard of it. And you said you wash your hair once a week...which brings up a great debate. I hear both sides. Some say you should wash every night, to get all that crap off your head, and others, say washing too much will make your hair fall out quicker...still not sure whose right on that 1.

I used to use topik as well
once I found this it was enough for me
both = prob better, but I don't have the money

it's bad to leave it on?
I assumed as long as you are tackling the dht thing, having stuff on your head made no difference...dread locks etc...

I have really long hair so I would not wash it every night anyways
I always felt I'd have less stress on my hair if I washed it less
