Okay well... I'll start it off I guess...

        1) Cost
        2) Because people want real hair not dust fibers
        3) Because it is a pain in the ass to put on every day especially for a NW5 onward.
        4) Because it is an unrealistic attempt at convincing those around you that you have a full head of hair
        5) The fibers are annoying and go everywhere
        6) Not all hair loss sufferers are experiencing male pattern hair loss, try using dust fibers to conceal hair loss on someone with Alopecia universalis
        7) It is useless on a receding hairline
        8) You would be ridiculed and laughed at in any normal/sane social group if they were to find out

I'll be honest with you, almost all (99&#37 of the products on the market aimed at treating forms of hair loss today are a joke at best, and this game is populated with ruthless sharks and companies that would suck donkey dick for £1 - true scumbags.

I am just glad I found a website/forum in which realism and hair loss are so closely intertwined.

because hairloss is progressive, and there will come a time, say after a few months or a year where toppik/nanogen wont work anymore because the balding area is too big.

          Not a good question.

I know it's not a good question. But it was seriously asked, and I knew people on here could answer it better than me. It was more along the lines of "If you don't mind having shorter hairs, then why would balding be such a big deal if you can use nanogen and toppik.

              Two very good reasons

              1. Cos most people no matter how scary at first tend to lose hair gradually. If you go for a shorter hair cut and use fibers sparingly the effect is incredible. I have used for years especially for work

              2. Men need to grow up! Using a cosmetic is no big deal. Women use mascara and flaunt it. Enhancing your appearance is cool. Normal social groups do not mock but think 'hey that looks good where did u get it'

Works for me. Prefer Nanogen by the way. Better color match. Look natural.

              Good luck

I used Toppik for several months, I have enough hair on my hair that Toppik helped my "appearance". It really boosted my confidence while I had it on.

Problem was that spray you buy with it, it made me sweat, and then without the spray, I would smell like Toppik.

My experience with it was 50/50. It's definitely better suited for NW1-3.

It's good for density. All my hair line and temples need is some density, because there are hairs there. So when I put Toppik on them, it looks like I actually have a hair line with normal temples lol.

Toppik and nanogen might buy me a year or two.
