What ever happened to the rats?? any update on Humans?

Just wondering if anyone knew what the situation was with that discovery on rats?
I know they have grown hair and are back to normal, but are they testing this on humans now?

the rats recovered their hair that were lost from intense stress, not genetic baldness. even if there is a link between stress induced hair loss and genetic hair loss, it'll take a very long time to go anywhere with this 'discovery.'

i see.. well here is hoping for some one to just inject that stuff in their head and wait!!
But they caused the problem to then fix it.. so no hope there really!

Although a lot of laboratory testing is done on mice, they are actually very poor proxies for humans when it comes to hair loss. The problem is that mice, and most other mammals for that matter, do not suffer from androgenetic alopecia (AGA). AGA is limited to just humans and a handful of other primates. For this reason, baldness treatments that work for mice won't necessarily work for humans.

That said, I too am curious to see what would happen if asstressin-b were injected into the scalp of a bald human. I'm sure trials are underway as we speak. On one of the other hair loss forums that I visit, some people of the posters are even trying to get a supply of the stuff to peform their own unscientific experiment.
