    dutasteride's effect on the hairline

    Hi guys,

So Ive just come off propecia (didnt really see too much improvement, although may have slowed hairloss down) and have switched to dutasteride 0.5mg daily.

Ive read a number of online blogs and am constantly being told that it will have a negative effect on my hairline. Is this true?

Has anyone here used Dut? What have your results been?

Also, if propecia didnt work, will Dut not either?

Any help would be apprechiated, Thank you

i've been using dut for about 5 years now and it has maintained my hairline. i used propecia before that. dut is like propecia on steroids in my opinion.

i don't know if dut will work for you if propecia didn't. propecia worked for me and dut worked better.

as for the sides, i experienced slight sides with propecia at first, but they quickly went away. i didn't experience any sides when i switched to dut.

Everyone responses differently - however DUT is a powerful drug so just be careful.

I tried Dut for 8 months. Took it every other day with propecia in between. Didn't do anything for me. Maybe slowed it down, but i couldn't say that for sure. My advice: try it every other day first. If it doesn't do anything it most likely won't do anything daily either.
