Long term finasteride usage does it lead to increased risk of dementia???
Hello All :
On a unrelated issue I needed to see a neurologist . The doctor said he wanted a list of medications that is was taking. When he noticed I was taking Finasteride for Hair Loss he immediately "said are you aware of the long term effects of this medication"
He went on to quote articles of studies that show Finasteride is linked to Alzheimer's / Dementia and shrinking the Hippocampus!!!
Can anyone share some insight cause I am totally stressed out ?
