    Celebrity baldsness!!!

    Hey guys,

I know, going bald sucks but it happens to 80% of all guys so your nothing special. (I'm 21 and it really sucks!) - If you've been watching any movies or shows lately and caught yourself sitting there and saying to yourself, "Screw that guy, he's almost 40 and still has his wavy thick hair. why me???"

Well, this post is just to make you feel better and just get some perspective of how many guys who actually suffer from the same crap as WE do.

Enjoy, laugh and have a nice day!

If you are bald/balding and a celebrity, we will find you, and out you.

While I understand that your intentions are good, blogs like this do nothing to calm that perpetual, churning maelstrom in my stomach. In fact, they make it worse - these men are being accused of something, and that hardly makes me feel good about how people might view me in the future.

Yes, these kinds of blogs are irritating, because they are full of a lot of misinformation, the worst example of which are "plugs" and because - as whynot says - these guys are somehow accused of something: having hairloss, doing something about it, trying to hide it. O the scandal!

Yep, all this post does is evidence the fact that any bald man who dares to improve their appearance will be mocked by the media. And apparently it's okay for ITV 1 in Britain to advertise a dating show with lines like "own hair and own teeth are always a plus." I wonder whether it would work so well if they advertised with lines like "not fat and doesn't talk ten to the dozen, that would be good."

The tone is far too mocking. And why "outing"? It's like you feel they have something to be ashamed of. I find it hard to believe that you're losing hair yourself to any real extent.

I can't help but just agree with Fixed here again...

Also, I can't use a thread like this to "feel better".

It's better to look at the balding celebrities that look good, like Jason Statham and use them as motivation/role models. I'm stick-thin and am in the early stages of balding, so I really have to hit the gym!

Are you guys kidding me? Im 21 years old and losing hair at a ridiculous rate. This post is about getting some perspective over your hair loss and just accepting it and that "even" celebrities do as well. I know it's tough, but come one! show some gut and walk out your door with your back straight

I knew Travolta was balding but Daniel Craig came as quite a shock.

He's definitely wearing some sort of toupee 'filler' where he's receded at the temples, because in the Bond films his hairline goes straight across.

How old are some of you guys? for his age (43) he has a great head of hair.
I would bet that most people on this forum would be thrilled to have that much hair at his age. It seems people here believe that unless you are a perfect NW1 you are bald.
The only reason for the hair piece if in fact he is wearing one is the obsession with perfection the producers of the movies feel they need to present
to the public because he is playing James Bond.

He has a good head of hair, but it's starting to recede which could mean a bald spot appearing at the back of his head in a couple of years.

No it doesn't. Look at Sting or Clint Eastwood or even Jude law for that matter
they all have great density an no loss at the crown. They are all perfect NW3!

I noticed Craig's recession years ago. It sort of pleased me to see a man with similar recession to mine being swooned over by women in his role as Bond.
I don't think he always wears a hairpiece to cover it in movies. (If ever.) There are times when it's noticeable that he has recession going on and that his hair is styled to cover it.

                            See this photo: http://andronico.files.wordpress.com/2008/11/dan.jpg

                            and this: http://cdn04.cdn.socialitelife.com/w...12-820x971.jpg

I don't see any real difference between how his hair looks in the paparazzi shot and how it appears as Bond. Other than the length.

Yeah but Sting never had a straight hair line. He's been receding since he was about 27. And who's to say he's never had treatment or transplants on the crown...
