22 year old Telogen Effluvium or MPB?

Hi here is my story about my hair shedding. I know its a long one but please hear me out.

Around November 2020 I started to diet and restict calories. I ate as low as 1600 calories. Lost about 30 pounds within 2 months. Around Febuary 2021 I noticed large amounts of hair falling when I showered and combed. Hair continued shedding up until May. In mid May I got sick from COVID vacinne and started noticing more hairs shedding. Before my haircut I went to the doctors at June. I had two doctors look at my scalp and they said telogen effluvium. They said I had very minmal thinning on crown and some on the front of my head but no bald spots or actual recession. It was basically all over the top of my head and the sides. I got my haircut after the doctors After my haircut I noticed the hair thinning all over my head and a little thinning on the crown. Note I had a double swirl as a baby and some of them was under a bright light. At that same time I got sick from sinus. After 2 months it started to looks normal but still shedding since I'm not getting a good nights rest plus the fact I got sick twice. Been really stressed the past year and still am. I will go to dermatologist to get their opinion.

My family history of balding is low. On my moms side I have a maternal uncle who is bald just in his crown, don't know about maternal grandfather, my mom's maternal grandfather died at late 50s with norwood 4a. My dad is subnorwood 1 and ovverall has a full head of hair but has thinning on top of scalp and crown that looks bald when hair is short or under a bright light. Paternal grandfather has all his hair but thinning all over his top of the head and crown. Pretty much everyone on my dads side keep their hair but experience thinning on top of their scalps and crown. So thinning hair but NOT BALD.

I'm a bit worried about how thin it looked after haircut. My parents keep telling me that its telogen effluvium and since my dad cut my hair, he mentioned since he cut it short on the back it made it look bald. My mom told me this is most likely temporary and I won't go bald but still skeptical. She too is experiecing lots of hair shedding and the top and her temples are about as thin as mine. She is not bald and neither is her mom. I would love to hear your feedback. Here are the pictures. The pictures with a full head of hair is what I look now plus the one where I show my forehead is also now.

Note here is a picture of a lady with post partum alopecia. Her frontal hairline is thinner than mine but not bald.
