Hi all,
I have been on dutasteride for around 10 years and have had fantastic maintenance during this time. My temples have (possibly) thinned slightly over the years, but to be honest loss has been minimal. (Although over the last couple of years I have noticed my hair seemingly finer over most parts of my head).
I was wondering if switching now to finasteride would be detrimental? Whilst on dutasteride my libido had fluctuated from normal to non-existent periodically, which never really bothered me. However, now I’m somewhat older (31) my libido certainly is not what it was, and has been near dead for the best part of a year now. I was hoping, by switching to finasteride and reintroducing some level of DHT back into my system I may be better placed in aiding a libido comeback. But would the switch make my hair make a dramatic turn for the worse?
Any help/ advice is appreciated. Would love to know if anyone else has done this also?
