Hey guys, first timer here. Basically I've noticed over the past few months that I am thinning at the crown and back of my head. I'm not thinning at the front of my hair or nothing. If my hair grows I can easily cover it up. It is just a small patch at the back of my head. My mother said I've always had bald patches at the back. I can remember as a youngster people saying I'm going bald etc. I have always had fine hair. My mother says she can't notice any difference, but I've recently checked in the mirror and think it looks bad. It looks that bad I think that I have started to wear a hat when I'm out and about.

Anyway, I went to my doctor here in the UK and he thought it was down to stress, then he mentioned that he thinks it was a mild case of alopecia. He mentioned that yesterday as well, but never mentioned any remedies for it. He thought it might have been down to stress or something. He had me get some blood taken today for analysis. When I feel the patch at the back I can feel like little pointy hairs that are short. I also had like a red bit down from where the patch was.

Anyway, what should I do? Is there anything out there to help me? I've heard about Minoxidil, or something that can help. Where would be the safest and cheapest place to buy this, and do you think it would help me in my case?

    Many thanks
