    Balding at very young age...help

Ok so I'm only 16 years old and have already noticed that i'm balding. It isn't that bad yet but I am beginning to bald in a horse shoe pattern. I have somewhat long hair with bangs down to my eyebrows. It looks incredibly stupid because my bangs continue to grow but the side of the front is beginning to thin and go in in a horse shoe pattern. I am only 16 years old and can't even believe that I have to deal with this kind of stuff yet. My father, my brother, and my mother's grandfather are all balding. My brother is in his late 20s. I also go to the gym regularly if that matters. I want to know what I can/should do to at least slow down the effects. Should I stop going to the gym, does weight lifting effect how rapidly you lose your hair. Also what should I do, should I go to the doctor and let him look at it and prescribe me propecia. Also what kind of product can I get to cover up the balding on the sides of my head where the thinning is occuring. I've been looking at dermatch but I have no idea what to do this is beginning to get extremely embarrassing. A doctor's opinion would be really appreciated but it seems like most people on this website also know what they're talking about.

I'm not sure if a doctor can prescribe propecia until you're 18. I would recommend buying saw palmetto and rogaine immediately to do what you can to stop the baldness progressing, then go to the doctor and find what he will prescribe.

Toppik or Nanogen can be used as a concealer.
