I keep getting mixed messages. I think it's pretty clear my crown is starting to thin, even though two hairstylists have told me I'm crazy, as well as my friends and family.
To get answers I went to my pharmacy and got a hair follicle analysis. From looking at me, the technician mentioned my "bald spot" and put me down as having a thinning crown. But then the analysis results said I had "normal density" in that area. However, they also said I have higher "optimal density" on the sides.
Needless to say, I left with more questions than answers. I have a "mature hairline" that I hate, but it hasn't changed in ten years. I said I'd never start fin until my crown started thinning, so I'm trying to figure out if it's time. It's an especially delicate situation because my wife and I are trying to get pregnant, and I don't want to hurt our chances.
