      It's difficult to put you on the Norwood scale because I can't really see any recession in that photo. Your hairline looks like it's probably just about where it's always been and I can't see the temples because of the hair coming down. It does look like you might be thinning a bit, but this is diffuse hairloss and there isn't a place on the NW scale for that.

        From the one photo it does not appear that you fit exactly into any Norwood catagory. Maybe a class I/II if I had to say, but a few more photos would really help. Maybe a frontal and top view with hair combed straight back, a profile view, and a crown shot.

          DR Charles? Is it possible for hair thinning and balding to get a lot worse monthly? It seems like my hair is a lot worse than 2-3 months ago. I have been shedding a lot recently and I don't know why. Can stress cause a lot of shedding and can that hair regrow? How long does a shedding period normally last? I am on propecia and saw palmetto. What else can stop this shedding?
