Shaved my head - will my thinning area on top grow back?? Help!

Shaved my head a few days ago - first time buzzing it, just hacked away at it...
Instantly regret it. Was doing a zero on back/sides for a few years, and keeping what I had left on top - it was thinning but it was sticking around, now I have nothing and am terrified - if I let all this grow, will the top grow in/out again to what it was a few days ago do you think? bear in mind, I hadn't cut the top in ages so not sure if there was much growth. I'm just not ready for this and wish I could turn back the clock and wish I'd never shaved it

I remember I did the exact same you did, I HATED it and thought it was never going to grow back but guess what IT DID!
You can clearly see there is hair on top and that will grow back. It's always scary taking your hair right down to that length. For what it's worth, my advice is now that you have it so short really start looking after your scalp right now, nourish it, massage it, really go to town on looking after it and when your hair grows back in/out it'll be the best condition you've had in years.

Thanks! Here's hoping, even if the top only grows a little bit I'd be happy to keep it for another while... The back/sides grow like crazy but the top was stalling for ages and I was boosting with with hair fibres etc... so I hope it grows a little bit!
