started noticing my hair loss around 24 (am almost 27 now). I would say I was a 2 on the Norwood scale but had been noticing what I thought was a lot of hair loss in the shower especially. My treatment includes minoxidil 5% 2x daily for 15 months. LLLT treatment daily for 15 months. Finasteride 1mg 5 months. Various hair vitamins for 15 months. I also recently have began dermarolling my hairline. Through all of this, and even still I find myself shedding around 150-200 hairs a day (that I can actually see) - just this morning I lost 80 over the bathroom sink while brushing/styling my hair. Everywhere I look says that is too much hair to lose, yet my head still remains thick. Even my hairline appears thicker than it was when I first began treatments.
Is it crazy to assume that amount of daily hair loss is normal for me even though there is practically nothing to back that up online?
