    Doc Specializing in Hairline Work

My understanding is that certain doctors specialize, or might be known for, different types of HT's. One doc might be particularly adept at mega-sessions, while another might be know for crown work or dense packing, and another might do great hairline work. I'm interested in having some work done to my hairline. Is anyone aware of a doctor who is known for doing exceptional work on the hairline specifically? Any recommendations/advice is appreciated...

    Thanks!

The hairline is pretty much the make or break of any hair transplant unless of course the procedure is in an area other than the frontal region. For this reason most hair restoration physicians should focus on and take a lot of pride in their hairline work. With the new techniques that are available there are now many doctors who are able to create very natural hairlines. However, this does not mean that all the doctors do nice hairlines. Do your due diligence.

There are several well known docs who consistently perform very natural hairlines (one above for example) I would advise you research and actually meet patients in person to make the most informed decision.

      All the bvery best

Thanks for response Dr. Charles and Spex. You both mention that there are certain doctors who perform great work on hairlines, but didn't mention any names. I'm trying my best to do my research on my own, but it's hard to base my decision off of pictures alone. Word of mouth is powerful. Can you recommend certain surgeons that are elite when it comes to hairlines?

Where are you located? Are you looking to have the procedure at a clinic close to home? I can tell you that I take a lot of pride and am very proud of the hairlines I have created for my patients. I am sure there are many other hair transplant doctors who would say the same.

Dr. Charles, I would consider making the trip down to Florida. I am DC and would prefer to stay closer to home (NC or NYC), but if going to FL is worth it I wouldn't be opposed. Do you offer any discounts or accommodations for out of towners?

I do offer travel expense reimbursment. I would estimate that currently 40% of by patients travel here from outside of the state of Florida. Please call 561-395-5544 anytime to speak with me directly. I will answer all of the additional questions you may have.

Defo hook up with Dr C and allow him to assess your situ.

Other well known hairline docs in my opinion.

Feller, Rahal, HW, Ron Shapiro, Alexander, True to name just a few..

If you e-mail a few photos I can at least give you some good information about your situation and lay out all of your options. Getting a few opinions is never a bad idea. We could discuss this via telephone or e-mail.
