Am I going bald?
For the past few months I have been very stressed about my hair, as I noticed that I have a 'widow's peak'.
My mother's father is the only bald person who I am related to, and I'm not sure wether or not it's a myth that if your mother's father is bald, then you will also be bald.
I found some photos of my hair when I was 14, and couldn't help but notice that it looked like I had a 'mature hairline' back then too (forgive me if that isn't the correct term). I don't think I ever noticed it back then, as it never even crossed my mind because I assumed that men could only go bald at an older age.
My mother seems to have very thin hair at the front of her head, and also seems to have a mature hairline, as you can see in the photo. My mother also mentioned that my grandmother and uncle seem to have this same dilemma.
I shaved my head just a few days ago so I could look at it closely, and I don't see any miniaturization on my crown.
Any advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated. I'm really unsure of what is going on, but if you think it is male pattern baldness, then please let me know.
