21 thinning crown.

Hello guys,

It looks like I have been blessed with an early onset of MPB. I would appreciate any comments on how far along I am with losing my hair in my crown area and what I can expect in the future. I have attached a picture. Thanks!

Hello, it looks like you have some mid-scalp diffusing as well, hard to say how fast it will progress though. However, you're in a good position to do something about it if you choose to i.e. Finasteride and minoxidil.

Thanks for your answer. I think that's the main thing here, no noticable regression at the front. Still praying it wont get worse as I've always had thin hair haha. Might look into treatment.

Yes, balding doesn't always start with a receding hair line. My hairline never moved… just diffused absolutely everywhere else…. With your degree of balding and young age you may be able just to take finasteride a be one of them lucky ones that gets everything back within six months and is spared having to use min twice a day. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
