    Am I (m, 19) balding?

Hi everyone, I recently noticed I have a quite pronounced widow's peak. Am I balding? Should I take action immediately if I am? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

You all are too nice. I think he is starting to bald. Look at the receding hairline and he is only 19.

It looks like early signs of male pattern baldness dude. But quite honestly, you still have a fair few years of hair, and when you do get to the stage where your hair starts to fall out rapidly, you will look perfectly fine .

Male pattern baldness is honestly one of the most misunderstood and frowned upon natural conditions by men. If men could only hear what your average woman would say on the matter, they'd realise that all the worry is completely unwarranted haha . Women really don't care, they like a man to be confident in himself and happy. It's not easy to begin with dude, but it will get much better and can actually be the making of you if you let it .

I don't care what women think at this point. I've fathered two kids so impressing them just isn't that important. I dont want to be bald for me, because I don't like the way it looks.

To have that recession at your age, yes you are almost certainly in the early stages.

Threre is hope. My hairline was similar to yours when I was around 22, and I'm now 44 and still not bald looking. I'm about a nw3 vertex, just now thinning on my crown.

You might go decades without looking bald. Hopefully there will be a real treatment by then or maybe you'll respond to finasteride.
