Am I a good candidate for HT surgery ?

    Hey folks

Here are a few pics of my hair. Currently on Minoxidil, Biotin. Not willing to try propecia.
I am on Clomid 25mg daily for my Low T

I am meeting with Dr. McGrath next week (Austin TX). Have a few questions

    1) Based on the pattern, am I diffused thinning?Click image for larger version

    2) How do I know if I'm a good candidate for hair transplant, i.e is my donor hair stable enough?
    3) What question do I need to ask the surgeon?
    4) How do I know if there will be 'shock loss' of hair after an hair transplant transplant? and what happens if I continue to lose more natural hair?
    5) Does Clomid contribute to hair loss ? What happens if I stop it ?

    Thank You

Are you on Clomid just because of the low T? Did you start losing hair while on clomid?

You look like a diffuse thinner. Only a physical exam can tell you if you are a candidate for a HT. Don't think clomid causes hair loss at least not for me but need to ask Dr. McGrath.

Watch this video from Joe Tillman which explains a lot:

This is a long video. With that out of the way I wanted to make this video for a while, but due to the amount of information and the work necessary to put it all together, it's taken me quite some time to finalize the edits. I was first motivated to make this video when someone posted an image of Kyle Christie, the Geordie

You're a diffuse thinner. I've seen plenty of men get good HT results with your pattern, but the fact that you're on medication of that type could change things, and I think this should be a significant focus of your questions to the doctor, when you meet him.
