Thinning in the scalp area

What is happening to me?
I have these patchy bald spots that is thin while thick at the other

May be alopecia areata...see a dermatologist and will most likely give you a steroid cream.

Is this similiar to the chronical telogen effivium? (diffuse thinning?) or is is like the traidional mbp

If it was telogen effluvium I would think it would be more diffuse thinning. Doesn't look like MPB either so see a derm when you can.
