Balding at 22, need advice about telling others

    Hey guys,

I am a 22yo male and I am currently about a norwood 3 with pretty bad diffuse thinning. I have a medium length buzz cut right now (9mm on top, 3mm on the sides) and am using concealers to cover my baldness. For the most part it looks fine, but I am getting really tired of worrying about my hair all day, and dealing with it getting messed up. I haven't told anyone about my hairloss, I'd really like to talk to my parents about it but I'm afraid they will react in a big way, when I really just want to talk it through with someone.

Does anyone have advice about how to become more confident with young hairloss? I am really looking for a more permanent solution. I think I would look ok with a short buzz cut but I am mostly afraid of how friends and family will react.

    Thanks for any advice

Yes, I have some very good advice for you. I am 52 today and was in your very same spot at the age of 22. I would like to advise you to not get the HT. Be confident in who you are. Believe me your family and friends will love you no matter what. God made no mistake with you. There are a ton of cool looks for you and you will be much happier as time moves forward and you approach my age without the HT. Once you get a HT you can end up worrying and dealing with it the rest of your life. This is very difficult to express in text. If you need someone to talk to I am available by phone if need be.
