Overuse of Minoxidil?

You have slight benefit from applying it twice, 3 times is definitely NOT worth your time. Minoxidil has a 22 hour half life in the skin so applying it twice a day is definitely enough. 3 times is definitely overkill and a waste of time and money. When I first started I also used it too much but there is little point to it but potential side effects.

Can one overuse minoxidil (5%)? I know that you're supposed to apply it only twice a day. What happens if you apply three times a day instead? Any negative, positive, or neutral consequences?
