Cant tell if my hair is receding or not?

Im a 23 year old male. My dad started to go bald in his mid 20's but his dad is 88 years old and still has a full head of hair. On my mom side, my 70 year old grandpa is bald as well and but didn't start going bald till early 30's. Can someone please tell me if they think i am starting the receding hair line process. First 4 pictures are normal dry hair. The next 3 is when my hair was wet and slicked back. Last picture is an old photo i found when i buzzed my head once when i was 20.

You have what is commonly referred to as a mature hairline. About a 2 on the Norwood scale. It doesn't look like it's changed all that much since you were 20 but unfortunately there's no way of telling if it will progress or how quickly.

I do know that my hairline was a lot like yours when I was 23, perhaps a bit worse, and it only receded a fairly small amount and by the time of my transplant, ten years later, I had only eached about a Norwood 3. My point being: early hair loss doesn't necessarily mean that a person is going to be bald by the time they're 30.

If I were you I'd try and put it out of my mind and just take photos every 6 months or so to monitor how it progresses.

I think your hairline is receding . But i don't think you will be bald in future at all. So just relax.

Nooooooooo lol. What do you mean I won't be going bald in the future? Isn't a receding hairline mean I'm starting to go bald?

Not in every case. its not compulsory that if your hairline is receding then you will be bald in future.
