    Is this early diffuse thinning?

My hair is still pretty thick, currently 30 years old, but MPB does run in the family. My dad was bald in his 20s and the other males on my mom's side went bald later on. Trying to prevent it if I can.

Hair looks thin in some areas on the top and crown when wet but I'm not sure if it's just placebo. I notice I can pull about 5 loose strands of hair at a time if I run my fingers through my hair.

I should note that I've been using testosterone (for strength training,) I'm aware of the risks, and have tried using ru58841 to prevent hair loss. Started at 25mg/day, now at 50mg/day, not sure if I'm seeing results on prevention. Should I switch to 1mg fin? I'm afraid of the negative side effects regarding libido and losing the benefits of DHT.

And I have one spot that's not in any area I'm familiar with associated with thinning, like right above my hairline in the direct center. http://i.imgur.com/opuvF5d.jpg - It's actually in the same place I lean my head against the cupboard. I didn't realize that at first but then it dawned on me that I stand in the kitchen a lot and lean my head with my hat on (that has a little bevel on the inside of it) and maybe it's rubbing my hair off, I've been doing it for months.

i wish i could have done the same like you when i was 19 , as you said it might be better to start with 1mg propecia, secondly do not hesitate to shave your head and apply some natural remedy, thats what i am doing now before getting hairtransplant . here is my situation now https://www.baldtruthtalk.com/thread...want-to-get-HT

I have read that hats and headbands don't cause balding or thinning but I think they do. The friction, heat, and just general lack of oxygen to that area of the scalp have to do something.
Maybe try not wearing a hat? You still have thick hair with all things considered. Just eat right and treat it good and hopefully that is enough to prevent further loss.

        Updates?

Just curious (if you're still around) about any updates to your hair; I have a very similar, seemingly diffuse pattern when my hair is wet. Hasn't really progressed much over the past 3 years, but just seeing how yours is doing.
