Alcohol and Finasteride?

Hey everyone,

So I've been on Fin for about 6-8 weeks now. No negative sides really to speak of aside from recovering worse from workouts, but I'm not sure if that's exactly from the fin.

I'm 27 years old, 6'1 210 moderately active. Go to the gym about 3x a week.

My question is regarding alcohol. The past few times I've drank with buddies, just thrown back some beers, like maybe 4-6, nothing crazy... I've woken up in the middle of the night with my heart pounding and I need to chug a glass of water and calm myself down in order to slow my heart and get back to bed.

I know that alcohol itself probably isn't the best, but I like to enjoy it at least once a week.

Does fin cause your body to react differently to alcohol at all since DHT is tied to your central nervous system? (or so I thought)

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed these effects when on fin.

I've never heard of this, tbh. If I were you I would run this by your general physician and get their input, as this doesn't sound normal (whether it's connected to the Fin or not).
