    Regrowth hair cycles?

I'm on Keto 2% for now going to be adding on to my treatment soon. Seeing a Dr this week.

But my questions is based on how the hair cycles.

Since May been on keto 3x a week. I have no adverse reaction to it hair is not dry.

I had in first 2 weeks shedding of 1 inch thick hairs with white bulbs. I'm assuming from white bulb it was going to go anyway.

Since then normal now I'm in 5 month and this week I suddenly shed like crazy these very skinny very short 1 inch hairs that would not have been viable regardless.

    My questions

1 Does hair have to cycle a few times when you start treating it?
2 Or is it usually in one cycle of sick hair to healthy hair?
3 does Keto synchronize hair cycles similar to Minox?

I'm using keto for now because hair loss is not aggressive and I have to figure out the stronger meds with my Dr. Also wanting to add 1 thing at a time.

Thanks in advance if someone can answer.

Keto 3X is too much. Once a week maintenance is enough after a few weeks at twice a week to start with. Keto is strong enough that you can't use it for 3 months after an HT according to most surgeons.

I was prescribed by a HT surgeon to do this. 3 x a week. My hair and scalp feel fine I get blood work every 6 weeks for my iron levels and my liver etc is fine.

So I get your concern but really only interested in questions I asked specifically?

Keto is only an antifungal, it helps because it kills some fungus that can exacerbate hair loss but that's about it. It does nothing else, it's nothing like minox so there is nothing to answer to your questions. Sorry.

i appreciate your opinion but my very well educated and very well established HT surgeon said otherwise.
