Shedding short hairs only?

Yo I'm 6 weekes on avodart and started ru58841 2 weeks ago and I'm shedding Short hairs only. What does it mean?when i shower i lose 2-3 long hairs max, but when i tend to comb my hair and put gair wax i see 3-4 short hairs and my hair is long.
