Hair ends quick question

When I notice strands of my hair,I see that the tip is very thin and weak. It looks scrawny and almost colorless BUT as it goes down the root it becomes strong and jet black. It this good?

I have been taking Fin for 3 months but havent really seen any difference. Also no increased shedding. I lose about 2-4 strands in the shower right now but i wash may hair pretty good and massage my scalp.

Is this a sign that my hair is reversing and the fin is working?

new hairs will have a tapered end aka, they'll get thinner at the end opposite to the root. When these hairs get cut they are blunt on the end. What you're describing is a hair that hasn't been cut and is just growing. If it's strong at the root, that's good.
