Ive had girls come up to me in class and looking at the back of my head and touching it and going "lol your balding!!!"
Oh and yes a LOT of people comment on it or at least you notice the facial expressions indicating they know.
lol...my one friend(not a prick like them) said, "Hey, did you cut your hair again recently?"
I just said..."No, there's just not a lot of it." I was at a party thing at that time and happened to be in a good mood so I decided to make fun of myself. Blah......
I DO NOT want to be THAT d%@#%@#$% 'ing guy.
Dammit.Comment

Everyone has faults. everyone that asks you about your hair has something about themselves that they dont like too. Fat, acne, no money, a big nose, a sixth toe... If your worried about these people saying stuff to you, you can become like them and point out their faults too... but then your no better then they are.Comment

To be clear, it's *******15+ that I tried using and had sides. I also tried generic Rogaine and got sides too.
Also, let me tell you that I experienced MASSIVE hair regrowth on Propecia over the past 2 years. Look at my thread, it has pictures. Rig
You may turn out to be one of the lucky people who react very positively to it too.Comment

hingsight: I just don't want to be that guy... I don't want to BE that damn guy... man.. lol
Mcr: will check out your threads now. Happy for you man! Hope it does something for me too. Btw, what were those sides? In case I don't find them in the threads.
I get systematic sides. But I am not sure it is minoxidil. Although I read this today:
It definitely does change things systematically...and safety is not 100% gauranteed. I am going to wait until I feel better again and then apply some more minox...but right now I feel really ill.
Thanks for the replies guys...Comment

I get headaches. I think my heart races a bit more. I also feel uncomfortable... but I sleep easily.
Do you still have some minoxidil? :P maybe apply some and see if you get the same symptoms again? I'd be really curious to know if it is the minox. I think for me it might be the minoxidil. although I am very unsure of it.Comment

The most similar experience I've had to that would been a few weeks ago, when I was talking to this drunk hipster girl at a local bar. She was carrying on about how her last 2 boyfriends had been balding, and how old it made her feel (she's what, 23). She continued on with "Honestly, I just should have just stuffed vitamins in their mouths when they were asleep. Take care of yourself, jeez!". At that point I stopped feeling angry with her. This person didn't even understand the process by which these men were going bald. How can I hate somebody that stupid? The respect I lost for her wasn't mingled with anger in the least. You drop the ballast when you're done with it, and that's that.
My actual friends, when we talk about thinning and balding, are totally unaffected by it. One of my best friends (who, for the record, is definitely one of the more attractive people I know), shrugged her shoulders and said "well, everybody we know is going to be balding by 30 anyway."Comment

whynot: It was a girl that I guess just wanted some attention. I was sitting and talking to a friend she was standing behind me and was just messing around I guess. Still stings a little hearing "your balding"...She didn't mean to be an ass but I mean hard not to be. But to be honest a lot of my friends who aren't balding also have SOME skin showing at the vertex area. Like everyone has a little revealed there. But now I have even more. But I think my regimen is working.
anyway,
Welcome MSM, to my army.

Today is a vicious day
Today I use everything!
I have taken finasteride a few hours ago, I have applied a LOT of rogaine. Once it dries I will apply a LOT of spiro.
And I have taken 2 MSM pills, will take 4 more today. A lot of people believe it extends the anagen phase? Some others believe it just grows hair faster. I am not sure which it is, either will do a lot of good for the appearance of my hair.
Tomorrow marks the 1 month mark, since my haircut and start of rogaine use. I think rogaine works to a certain extend for me, I definitely notice new hairs on the right side of my forhead. Perhaps a few on the left I am not sure.
I am definitely NOT shedding anymore. I did shed for a few days, a few days ago lol. I am shedding much less now. I think I was shedding around 200+(not sure how much, but I could easily count 60+ each time I looked in the sink when washing rogaine off, or shampooing) hairs per day for a few days.
I am definitely sick also, I have some sort of flu or whatever. Taking antibiotics to stop infection now etc and some other crap for it.
So, I think the flu is what caused my rogaine side effects. I will see what happens today, I applied a lot even though I am not recovered yet.
I am going to give 2% rogaine a month or 2 more before I try 15% minoxidil. I just don't want to screw up my hair with excessive shedding. I will give it a month or two since I think 2% is doing something for me.
I feel relieved and much less anxious than I was a month ago. I feel like I can win this war against my follicles...
I expect some regrowth and a better appearance in a few months. Though I will give finasteride over a year to work.
I will take 6 msm pills for a week or 2. Then perhaps go down to 4 etc etc. Since I just want to grow my hair longer, fast. I don't like short hair.

Thanks man.
I am optimistic about the months to come and really hope I can improve the appearance of my hair.Comment

I hope you can too. Learning something about yourself while doing it is also a nice bonus, which I am sure you will. I just hope its the not same thing your friend fixed learn; give up on life.Comment

Oh dear, there he goes again.
It's not about giving up on life. It's about rebalancing life to maximise pleasure whilst you still can.
There's little point seeking pleasure in life from a highflying career because it's statistically unlikely to happen. Unlike your hairy colleagues, you actually have to be phenomenal to get promoted (they can just blag and look good).
Instead, you should focus on what does please you. Invariably that involves a lot of vice, although because of my disdain for drug users that normally limits itself to vast quantities of wine and lots of saturated fat.Comment
