    Trying the natural way first.

Going the natural route only because I am skeptical on taking fin, I already know what people are going to say "goodluck saving your hair" or negative comments but why not try it first. I have read a few people on this forum and someone else on another who are trying pumpkin seed oil. Any thoughts? Or saw palmetto as well, and do these cause any shedding or make hair loss worse by speeding it up?

Also for the pumpkin seed oil, is liquid the same as the pill? Which is better and more effective? Thank you

I agree it cant hurt to try natural first assuming you have the time and hair to afford to lose like its going slow. A lot of people went down that road and then realized it didnt help so they advocate the more proven stuff now.
I think liquids in general are absorbed better than powder personally

Sure, do the natural way. I also tried that when I was about 25. Then, 4 years and 30% less hair later, I realized it's not working. Then tried propecia + rogaine and now I'm somewhat maintaining the hair I have.

Thanks guys, yea I know in the end it'll probably do nothing I just try to have some hope but thanks for the honesty.

Mpbman, what NW are you would you say? And would you say when you were 25 you were losing hair at a slow rate?

I'm about 3 to 4 now, with diffuse thinning on top. I had heavy hairloss (lots and lots of hair falling out) at about 25 or 26, but unfortunately was to scared to try propecia then. I'm quite sure if I'd try propecia back then, it would save me lots of hair.
