Gotu kola what does it do ?

I started to read about traditional chinese medicin, And i read gotu is very populair for hair loss. But what does it do, is it a dht blocker, or pgd2 blocker ?

So it is not like saw palmetto What blocks dht or like castor oil what blocks pgd2 ? :-)
