Common pattern for complete baldness ?

I have read somewhere that for a genetically hair loss pattern the hair recedes from temples and then from vertex (top of head).

In my case the hairline has receded symmetrically from middle and temples.
There is no hair loss from vertex .
Could my present case be mature hairline .

    Please someone answer me .

I would like to know whether my present situation is mature hairline ??

My father also has receded hairline but not bald. he is 48 and i am 17.

Vertex recession is the usual case if you have mail hair loss. If your entire hair line is just moving you probably just getting a more mature hairline right now. Really quite common when you are 17.
