Receded hairline at youth but not bald at Old

Is there any one ( or any one you know ) who has receded his hairline in his 18's or before but has maintained the hairline till old age (at least for a decade) ?
Please some one share their knowledge ?

My hairline is receding in straight line but a small peak in middle?

I've never known it happen to anyone who started as a teenager I'm afraid, but my dad had a high forehead and 'show through' on his crown since he was in his early 30s, and he's 65 now, and you still couldn't say he was bald or even balding, really.
