WHY is my HT scar STILL RED!!

I want to eventually buzz my head. I am almost 2 YEARS out of an HT and my scar is still pink/reddish!! It also feels a little raised, like I can feel the top of the scar is a bit higher than the bottom. shouldn't good suture work create scars that can't be recognized by touch?? WHY??? Any advice is appreciated.

Use aloe vera gel and lots of ginger juice. It heals scars!
