    Beginner Advice Needed

    Hi,

So I'm 22 and have always had a fairly deep hairline, probably a norwood 2, but in the last year or two my hair has really started thinning out and now it's started to recede towards the centre.

I did the online Belgravia diagnostic which recommends Finasteride 1mg tablets and Minoxidil 5% + Medroxyprogesterone (MPG) 0.0125% Lotion but I was just wondering if you guys have any bonus knowledge I should know about. I've read through the forums a bit and know I shouldn't actually use Belgravia but there seems to be a lot of information here and with all the acronyms used I'm not sure what applies to my situation.

Hop on Dutasteride. It sounds like you have an aggressive case of MPB. Don't listen to others and their side effects horror stories

Or alternatively, look at the evidence and make up your own mind: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4064044/

Thanks for the input guys. After reading up on Dutasteride I think I'll start on the Minoxidil and Finasteride for the time being.

Anyone have any advice on where to get the stuff relatively cheaply (I'm a student) as a UK citizen? I've also seen talk of using shampoo and vitamins in addition to them?

Im the happiest I've ever been. On 0.5mg Dutasteride 3 times per week. It doesn't cause depression.
