    Rogaine Foam- Initial Shed

I started Rogaine foam about 3 weeks ago and my shedding has increased drastically. The top of my head has gotten very thin and it has destroying my hairline.

I knew I would shed, but not this much, and not so soon.

    1) Should I be concerned and stop the treatment??
    2) If I continue will my hairline repair itself overtime?
    3) Does this shed mean I'm a good responder, and should continue??

Also worth noting is that I have long hair and have trouble getting the foam to my scalp. Especially applying such a small amount over a large area.

I suggest you you to visit some professional physician. I know one clinic personally because I went there with my husband for treatment. check their website: http://www.phukethairclinic.com/msp.html

There is a problem to get there because its in overseas. You have to visit Thailand for getting the treatment. Whatever, You can visit the country because its so beautiful there and you can get proper treatment also.

I noticed today Rogaine Foams manual states that, "If hair loss continues after 2 weeks on ROGAINEŽ product, stop using and talk to your doctor".

Its been nearly 4 weeks now. Do I stop now until I see the specialist in a few weeks??? I'm so conflicted.

when i first started losing my hair Rogain was my first option,
during the first month all hair shedding stopped, and i continued using it until the 9-10th month when it came back and i decided to stopped with it
and then tried Propecia for 12months and hair stopped falling untill the 12th month or so where noticed that the shedding is coming back,
so i switched to Avodart, and now been on it for about a month, and losing more hair,
which is crazy because this is suppose to be like 500% stronger then Propecia,
and i should mention that with Propecia i noticed that hair loss stopped on the 3rd day
since my research i read that Avodart helped some guys and didn't help the rest,
which brings me to my point,
these options work on each and every one in different ways
therefore i think best to try everything out there only one time, and keep only the products the work for you personally

personally i will give Avodart another month, and if nothing then moving back to Propecia and sticking to Biotin and the anti hair loss shampoos
