How far back will Propecia work?

I started balding when I was either 16 or 17, an started Propecia at 20. Im 21 now. Getting somewhat of results from it (hair approx. 35% fuller). But my hairline is still like an M shape, 3 inches back from the top of my forehead. How far back, in terms of years of age, will Propecia bring back hair? Like, will I be able to get my hairline of when I was 12 (9 years), 16 (4 years), etc?

If hair is totally gone, it's gone. You won't get your hairline back. Consider yourself lucky for the results you have.

Because we all are individual and we may respond differently to one and the same method of hair regrowth, being it Propecia or something else. By the way your results are good and I agree with TotallyScrewed, you should be happy with the results you have and in my opinion you should continue with Propecia. What dosage of Propecia do you take?

5mg propecia split into fourths. Take one fourth daily. I tried both Rogaine and propecia but was scared if I quit the Rogaine I'd lose what Rogaine brought back so waited for what propecia would bring me. I do see some little hairs along my hairline so I know it's working. How long will it take for those little hairs to be mature hair strands like the rest of my hair?
