Hey guys, this is my first post on here. I'm 20 years old and seem to have some sort of diffuse balding. Or not. I'm not sure. My hair just seems thinner at the very front but not anywhere else. I'm a norwood 1 on the scale so it isn't receding either. I only found out that diffuse thinning was a thing today so I'm quite scared. Going to start finnastride (whatever it's called) and rogaine ASAP. The thing is, although my father is totally bald (started at 17), he had a receding hairline, unlike myself. Again, I may be overly paranoid as my hair only appears thin under harsh lighting when I can see my scalp. It's been like this for about a year and isn't noticeable really, so if I can completely halt it or at least slow it down significantly that would be awesome. I know hair isn't everything but I don't want to be bald before 30. After that, I don't really care. Anyways, any advice would be fantastic. EDIT: thought I'd mention that I have long shoulder length hair, in case it's of any help
I thought I would follow my father's hair loss pattern.

If you're concerned, go see a dermatologist.
