Is this a sign of balding or just a sign we both have short foreheads (which we do)?

I have no clue on this balding stuff, but i recently realized i don't have that perfect hairline, like some people do.

I've heard about that, yeah, but my crown seems perfectly fine atm. It's just the corners that have receded slightly.
